i've heard about jack mormons.
are there jack jws (folks that partially believe but their lives are pretty worldy) ?
what are your thoughts about these peeps?
Are Jack JW's common? Oh Lordy, Lordy child. Yes.
Many JW's may not understand this Mormon word, meaning those of the Brothern that smoke of the leaf or weed or chew disgusting things that need to be spit, or partake of the fermented grape, etc. lol
DesirousofChange said it correctly. They live a double life.

Oh, dear. It sounds as if the See's Candy you had was switched up with the other candy because someone did too much nibbling. lol

Hi and Hey you guys...I feel like an El Jerko (La Jerka? lol) I was devoted. I listened and believed. I wore the tin hat and drank the Kool-aid, up until almost a year ago.
If someone had come to me years, decades, earlier and kindly, sensibly, even a stranger, and said, I would like to show you something important I think you should see...I would have taken the bait. And like with anything new, just a bit at the beginning, calmly, with time to digest it and let the gray matter roll around some.
This site has been a haven for me. I don't like the fights, or arguments or attacks. I don't like the cussing, it upsets me, so I screen the cussing out.
But the other 95% of this site, is fantastic.
I feel for all of you, who have Family still in it.
In a way, I am amazed, that I am out. I would like to give you gentle, cautious hope, that it can be done.
Hugs to all of you, who have suffered.

Breakfast of Champions...If we were sharing, I would trade your Butterscotch Square, for my Raspberry Creme...I don't really like those. I don't like the Molasses Chips either. They are always the dead last ones, I'll eat in a box of assorted.
Which ones do you leave for the last because you eat them by which ones you like first?
For me, the last ones kicking around in a box of assorted are the Molasses Chip and Rum Nougat. Those 2 are always the last.

Does everybody know if you go to their larger stores (you can find out which stores on their web site ) you can pick out from the window view, free sample(s)?.
If it is a smaller store, you can only buy, prepackaged, boxed, candies. All the boxes and merchandise are dated. At the larger stores, where you can pick out individual candies, to your liking, the chocolates will be a tad fresher. Once sell by date comes, if any are left, they are trashed.
I live a distance away, so when I get home, I stick them in the freezer. Still great taste.

I would go out with my mom, door to door, when I was just a little tike. From driving around the neighborhood so much and now that I was able to be tall enough to see out the window, I learned to read and spell my first word, at age 4, all by myself. S T O P. I can still remember the joy I felt, I can read! lol
When I was 7, from the District Convention, we did magazine work. It was in a very large, metropolitan City. The area we were assigned, was a neighborhood of all old wooden homes, with front porches, and huge trees, over-hanging the street. Most of the homes were run down, no nicely mowed green grass or flowers. I was shocked to see people parked their cars, in their front yard, where their lawn should have been. I placed maybe 8 or 10 mags that AM, so my mom said, well you placed them, you might as well count them, so from that day I have been a publisher.

Funny Flipper!
When we were kids, my mom usually hid the box. So after school, when she was out pioneering, I would go a lookin', to see what I could find. When I found it, I would guess too, which one I thought was the best, (milk chocolate with little chocolate shot on top, or, or, or, lol). Before I put the box back, exactly as I had found it, I would move the chocolates around, in their little dark brown papers, so it looked like none were missing. lol
